submarines operating in these waters. You’ll descend 100 feet
into another version of paradise -- one hidden even from the people of Hawaii
for centuries. Your submarine journey will take you to a dive site filled with
fishes, coral, sea turtles, and sunken shipwrecks and airplanes that attract all
of this marvelous sea life. Atlantis Submarines offers two
submarine experiences:
Premium Atlantis Submarine Tour
- 45 minute dive
The premium submarine
tour takes place on the world's largest hi-tech passenger submarine.
This sub has a 64 passenger capacity. View ports on board the
premium sub tour are 27% larger than those on the smaller submarine.
The larger submarine also offers superior comfort and an enhanced
amount of space per person. Seating on board this sub is individual
chairs with seat-backs (compared to bench-style seating on the
smaller sub). Hourly departures from 9am to 3pm. 9am to 11am
dives are narrated in Japanese. 12noon to 3pm dives are narrated in
English. The rate is $105 per adult,
and children 12 and under are $53. Minimum height is 36"
Original Atlantis Submarine Tour - 45 minute dive
The original submarine journey takes
place aboard a 48-passenger
submarine. These subs have been featured on National Geographic Specials. Just
as on the premium tour, the knowledgeable and friendly crew will share their love of
the ocean on this excursion and provide information ranging from fish
identification to scientific data. Hourly departures from 9am to 3pm. All
dives are narrated in English, except for the 10am dive which is in
Japanese. The rate is $89 per adult
and children 12 and under are $45. Minimum
height is 36"
Both subs have spacious air-conditioned
interiors. The actual length of the dive AND the dive route are
identical on both tours.
Check-in at the Atlantis
Submarine ticket office located beachside behind the Hilton Hawaiian Village at
the western end of Waikiki. Check-in required 30 minutes before the scheduled submarine tour time.
Actual
underwater tour time is 45 minutes on both the premium and standard dives. Shuttle boat ride from the pier to the
submarine site plus transfer is 10 minutes each way. Children must be 36
inches or taller to ride the submarine. Passengers must be physically capable of
ascending and descending a near vertical ladder in order to ride the
submarine. Free shuttle service is provided throughout Waikiki to transport
you from your hotel to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Your confirmation email will
have the phone number to call to arrange a shuttle if you require one.
If you are booked for a tour that is not narrated in
your native language, headsets providing
narrations in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean are available upon request.
To observe the magnificent aqua-blue ocean
abundant with marine life of Hawaii from a submarine is a "must do" and a
once-in-a-lifetime experience.

menu includes appetizers, steamed Maine lobster and filet of beef

premium cocktails are included per adult. Round-trip transportation
to and from the dinner cruise from Waikiki hotels included.

The Atlantis Submarine dive is
available for cruise ship passengers in port in Oahu but no
transportation from the pier is provided to Waikiki. We
recommend that you do your submarine dive when you are in port
in Kona, since the check-in there is right across the street
from the cruise ship dock. Save $10 per person off the cruise
ship rate and book
